My name is Anna Morse and I am excited to be the new Edge Coordinator for our Catholic Parishes of Sandusky. I love the youth of our community and I’m thrilled to be helping them on their journey towards Christ. They are, after all, the next generation of Catholics.

My Catholic faith has always been important to me. My husband, Joseph and I are both lifelong Catholics. We have been married for 17 years and we have five awesome children: Ezekiel(16), Ruth(15),Olivia(12),Evelyn(9), and Maximilian(2). Our children show me every day what Jesus meant when he said, “I thank you Father, Lord of heaven and earth that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to infants” (Matthew11:25).Our children teach me so much about the love of Jesus. My amazing husband has been the leader in our family; he leads us closer to Christ with his amazing example and his knowledge of our faith.
Joseph’s job brought us to the Sandusky area almost 8 years ago. We quickly found a spiritual home in the Holy Angels Parish. Each of us found ways to serve the Sandusky Catholic community. I served in many different ministries including Children’s Liturgy of the Word, the Marriage Prep Team, Life Teen Core, Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist and most recently my mom and I took on Vacation Bible School (Hopefully your kids are signed up!)
Last year, I volunteered on the Life Teen Core because of my love of the youth in our parishes. Serving on core was a role I really enjoyed and learned so much from. This Summer, I attended the Catholic Youth Ministry Convention which is a training conference for Life Teen. At the conference, I felt called to step into a different role, as Edge Coordinator. I immediately tried to question this calling… “God, It can’t be me…I’m so busy… I have five kids… My 5 kids are busy…My husband works weird hours… Who will make milkshakes in a trashcan with Kathy?… Are you sure God?….
After I spoke with my husband, I turned in my application and here we are now, with me writing an article for the bulletin, which is clearly not my strongest skill but God has a plan for me in this role and I will embrace it.
I need your prayers and your help. If you love the 7th and 8th graders, if you want to share your Catholic faith, if you want a to be part of something bringing teens closer to Christ, please contact me at We are looking for core members, and help in smaller ways as well, to support our youth ministry.

Thank you for your continued prayers as I begin this new journey.
